- Epilepsy
- Deep brain tumors such as thalamic gliomas, hypothalamic and brainstem tumors
- Neuroendoscopic hydrocephalus
Motion Analysis Laboratory
Walking gait analysis is the numerical evaluation as well as the identification and interpretation of movements. Walking analysis is applied by physical examination and three-dimensional movement assessment.
- Physical examination: Detailed physical examination analysis begins with the evaluation of joint movements (ROM-range of motion) and measurement of angles of movement of joints, where measurements of height, weight, leg length and joint spacing are taken.
- Three-dimensional motion assessment: During walking, the movements of the marks fixed to the body are detected by infrared cameras and DV cameras on the walking platform and transmitted to a special computer. Then the movement made on the computer is evaluated. Evaluate the records in detail and convert them into graphic and three-dimensional reports.
In addition to the Department of Neurology, our center provides treatment for spinal problems, including:
- Spinal disc herniation
- Herniation of the cervical disk

Neurosurgery
Brain, spinal and neurosurgery is a specialty intended to treat diseases that require surgical interference in the central nervous system (brain and spinal cord) and peripheral nervous system (nerves diffused from the brain and spinal cord to the body).
The Center for Neurosurgery at Istinye Medical Park Hospital has been established to provide a 24-hour service to patients in terms of diagnosis and surgical treatment for all diseases including:
- Brain diseases
- Diseases of the spine
- Diseases of the spinal cord and nerves
Our hospital uses the latest technology according to international standards. The Neurosurgery Center also provides a range of brain and spinal surgeries under the supervision of Turkey’s most skilled doctors.
